Inspired by: "Winter dies into the spring, to be born again in the autumn."
It flourishes even in desolate places –
Flowers blooming in earnest youthful affection
Blossoming again in spring’s good graces.

A lusty riot of colors flushes their faces,
Living and loving under the sun’s inconstant protection –
It flourishes even in desolate places.

The flowers of summer speed through the autumn races
Into the bleak hibernation of winter’s resurrection,
Blossoming again in spring’s good graces.

Thusly life, having been put through its paces,
Triumphs, cleaving steadfastly to its springtime reflection –
It flourishes even in desolate places.

The promise of the coming sunny season chases
Away the corrosive doubts of a winter long introspection.
Blossoming again in spring’s good graces

Nature thrives; anticipation fills the empty winter spaces
With remembered echoes of a lover’s soft inflection.
It flourishes even in desolate places
Blossoming again in spring’s good graces.
