Love, when lost, can imprison anyone.
Love makes us all liars, prisoners to our own deceit.
We are slaves to that which we love,
To that which is lost.
Yet our foolish hope prevails,
Trapping us within our own minds
On a quest we cannot win,
To reach that which we can never have.
