As the world turns, so do we...
Where does the tide go,
When it rolls back off the sand?

Where does the sun go,
When it sinks beneath the land?

What happens to time,
As it slowly ticks away?

If the clouds keep rolling,
Then will they stop someday?

These things are naught but memories,
Once they've come and gone

Are not our lives the same,
When we our course have run?

Tarry not too long in life,
With things you don't hold dear

For if at first a moment's there,
It will soon disappear

We are given time in life,
To enjoy what we see

But it won't take long for all of this,
To become a memory

Our friends, families, deeds we've done,
May not tarry long when we our course have run

The guiding light of distant shores,
Will still show us the way

If we could only think about,
The joys of today

We're never guaranteed for sure,
That tomorrow will come

But if it doesn't we will know,
That we our course have run.
