A girl getting her license and being stopped by a policeman
A young girl of 16 has a piece of plastic with her picture in her hands

She smiles as she sees her gorgeous 1960 red corvette calling her name

She grips the wheel tightly as she smells the potent aroma of petroleum

feeling the sweet sensation of the highway at her fingers

she hits the gas and flies down the ramp

as she sticks her head out the window

she feels the wind against her cheeks and through her hair

No one can stop her

Not even blue lights she thought

Until she actually saw them which brought upon her a new reality

A heart-stopping moment, she finds it hard to breathe.

A tear streams down her face, as she feels her pass of freedom slowly

fading away.
