second poem post
I dreamed of you again, calling upon me in the darkest hours
I do not mind
You visit me in my sleep for a reason
Message, warning, comfort

Its not really you, im not naïve
A beautiful figment of a damaged mind
Im am not myself
But listen as over-hearing

You call to me from your new distant home
I am not mistaken
The pieces of information unimportant
Your voice is the yearned for melody

Your eyes see not me in my bed
But the chipped paint of the ceiling
Memory lightens the tone but im not fooled
These are my words

Nonsense really, but it matters not
The soft timbre is enough
To stop my heart from breaking
You’re not gone
