Just me trying to fathom life and everything in it.
Will you sit on the end of my bed,
While I find a safe place in my head
For you to play?
Will you hold my hand,
While I try to understand
Why you stayed?

I laughed so hard, I thought surely I'd bruise
And I was certain I became a part of you.
We ran so fast we left the whole world behind
And that night
That night, I...

It's a strange place up there
And sometimes I get scared,
But it's just my imagination.
I dont want to go,
I just started getting better.
I thought I understood what it meant
To be together.

I laughed so hard, I thought surely I'd bruise
And I was certain I became a part of you.
We ran so fast we left the whole world behind
And that night
That night, I...

You are the perfect mess
I created in my head
To quiet these bad dreams.
And I am nothing less
Than your bitter end
Darling, try not to scream.

I laughed so hard, I thought surely I'd bruise
And I was certain I became a part of you.
We ran so fast we left the whole world behind
And that night
That night, I...

I found you.
