A poem of love lost.
We held each other as,
tight as two can be,
and watched the stars dance on the sea,
Your hand entwined,
within the roots of mine,
your fingers the color of toasted silk,
mine, like a glass of creamy milk,
our feet moved through the sand,
compared to you,
the moon was bland,
layer by layer,
you peeled away,
the real me,
as we swam naked,
in the crystal sea,
one single kiss,
you placed upon my lips,
was grander than a thousand ships,
Now as I sit here in the tide,
I wonder love,
Where did you hide?
