This is my goodbye to my best friend.
I cannot explain how much you have changed me,
How much losing you has effected who I am.
It feels as though nothing is as it should be,
It feels as though life is a sham.

You were my best friend,
someone who I trusted more than most.
You don't know how I'm trying to be able to comprehend,
But it doesn't make sense that you're now a ghost.

How could God take someone who did no wrong?
Someone who was going to assist,
In helping children learn and grow.
How could God allow you to cease to exist?

Nicole, I know he must have had a reason,
Because even though everyone is in pain,
God would never commit treason.
He must have had something to gain.

Even though we will never know why,
I'm grateful for the time I was able to spend with you.
The only problem I have is that I didn't get to say goodbye.
So this poem is my adieu.
