Written during one of my lazy days by my favourite lake
In you, I find perfection
Unhindered by the greed of man.
What city knows the sun’s embrace,
What country the graceful swans span?

In the sun I see a vision
As dust and leaves begin to swirl
Scattered by breeze and breathe
For forest creatures know how to twirl

Against my cheek the crisp air blows
It drifts unbound round towers north
Free to play, to glide, to dance
And cast lovers together for warmth
