Written during one of my lazy days by my favourite lake
Do not leave me my dear,
my savior up high
For I fear without you I may
cease and promptly begin to die
With the last glimpse of sparkled dust,
dancing between your slits of gold,
Will my own light begin to fade?
And as the darkness begins to crawl
will my inner demons lash out and ascend?
I can feel my skin begin to creep
My body turning stiff
My once flushing cheeks fade to blue
while the devil frost tauntingly
pricks at my woeful heart.
Warm me!
Cast your saving light upon my face
Or fade away, leaving me to succumb to this
ice encrusted grave
