Childhood hopefulness...sadly I'm still full of it.
Let wonder be our religion,
And awe struck be our permanent state.
Let kisses be our words;
Sometimes silence says it all.
Let there be no secrets
Because the stars are always listening in.
Let us never have to sleep alone,
When the need to love is in our bones.
Let us be soft and let us be tough,
Let just enough be just enough.
Beauty is a chorus line,
Fairytales the gospel truth
And storybooks lead everyone home.

Let wonder be our religion,
And awe struck be our permanent state.
Adventure is everywhere,
And tonight I'm Peter Pan.
