My ex just broke up with me. This poem popped into my head just as it happened. Enjoy.
It's over, I know,

But I'll smile as I watch you go.

Don't worry for me,

All I want is you happy, you see?

So don't look behind,

for if you do you'll find,

I'm not as tough as I seem.

I don't want to be a bad dream,

I want to let you be happy,

Even if it's without me.

'Cause I care,

If you need me, I'll be there.

But don't fret,

You won't find my face wet,

'Cause I care.
