A somewhat dark poem, at first I thought about making it a gothic creation myth.
It's so sad to think of him
As he spins along the rim
Empty spaces are his home
Through seas of darkness he must roam
Touching the infinite with terrible fire
Vacant inside but for a pale desire
To freeze in place the cruel march of time
Or from the void make reason and rhyme
A constant joke among the gods
With evil might he twists and nods
Two billion years they let him burn
With no love to give and none to earn
They knew his fury would be wild
So they kept him as a child
