A man reflects back on his life. Through all the good and the bad.
Silently Lay

While he lay silently in his bed,
He thinks up songs in his head.

He thinks of two but one soon dies,
And now he stares up at the skies.

As he lays and quietly thinks,
He knows he shouldn't but he drinks.

The mug of poison that the snake gives.
This kills his brain but helps him live.

He's floating now high in the air,
And now it's time to pay the fare.

From drinking all of the dangerous drug.
That came from that deadly mug.

He realizes now it's helping him die,
And faces the fact that he has lied.

To all the people that once loved him.
And to himself, when life was dim.

He's gone now from the land of the living,
And it's too late to begin giving.

To the people that he once loved.
