This poem was derived by the colors orange and black. And, no its not about Halloween.
The sunrise shining brightly
Orange becoming dominant over the land
The memories of the past floating away in the haze of birds chirping and horns blaring
The blackness of her soul, lifts making her believe that she had not done so many terrible things
The things that would name her a monster to her people
Monstruo they would whisper as she walked the streets of the only place she could ever call home
She knows they will never forgive her
The carnage in the house too much for even her to bear
The orange flames licking up the bodies
blurring together with the blackness of the blood
Deprived of oxygen
She watches as the two colors dance
Orange, Black, Orange, Black
She never notices the red spilling down her body from the wounds she has inflicted in herself
Or the green and yellow of the cruisers coming to take her away, to take her back
All she notices is
Orange, Black
Orange, Black
