A young man comes to realize just how hard that fall can really be.
THE FALL


Hannah the bartender sees his recognizable wave at the opposite end of the bar. "Calling it a night John?", she asks. "Yeah, back to the routine tomorrow, guess i'll get an early start", he replies pathetically. She gives him a nod, the same nod she had been giving him for the past three years. "Same time next week?",Hannah says. "Of course, i'll see you then."
Now John met Hannah about three years ago after settling into his new Sarasota, Fl home. He moved down from Cincinnati, Oh, to try to get a new prospective on things. John had always been the type to feel that life could be altered simply by your surroundings. He never felt as if he was running away from something but more like waiting to run into his "fate". Back to meeting Hannah, obviously the first thing nearly every man does when living in a new town is to find the local bars. John did just that found a spot he really liked and he stuck with it. It wasn't about the alcohol and he had no problems cutting himself off after one too many. It was about the people, the music, and the overall atmosphere of the places he liked. He liked people and he liked to be around them any chance that he got. So Hannah became one of those people, she was the reason Tillies became John's favorite place to hang out and relax. Every friday night around the same time John would stroll in and plop right on his bar stool, the stool probally had his signature
