A birthday poem for someone special.
On this special day I thought of you
hoping all your wishes come true.

Did you wish for candles on top of a cake
or a moonlit stroll near the lake?

Did you wish for candy, flowers, and balloons
or a picnic at night in view of the moon?

Did you wish for a party with family and friends
or just time to relax until the day ends?

Did you wish for something special just for you
or something special that I could enjoy too?
