Please give me a verse,
Creamed with all the figures of speech
Recited with perfection

And celebrates the beauty of words,
The way they sound and look
The way they connect, forming a concept
Giving birth to what I call poetry
Command the mute in me to speak Oh Lord
Command the mute in me to speak the truth
Command the mute in me to speak...

Remind it of its identity
Let my presence on this stage
Put a smile on someone else’s face
Let it be
