A piece I wrote after my mother passed away.
There are tears that will never
fall,
Like forgotten leaves in the snow.

There are rainbows that will never
shine,
Like the sun on a rainy day.

There are hearts that will never
feel,
Like a mouth filled with novocaine.

There are stars that will never
shine,
Like when you closed your eyes for the
last time.
