Nova Starr is an amazing character.. If she were real, I would think she would be a GREAT porn star because she loves her work and truth be told, with a name like "Nova Starr" what else can she actually do.
The details in the story were amazing and the developed relationship between she and Michael was very well done. It is always easy to just have a woman jump the bones of the first guy she meets. it is much harder to actually let them have some time of committed relationship.
Michael's gentleness with her and instruction was also something memorable.
Really, I love Nova. I read the series out of order... I read the Nova Starr Cronicles and then this story so I'm missing one piece, but will be reading that today!!! This was amazing. I'm anxiously anticipating what will happen next. What brought her to London, things like that... my curiousity is definitely peaked and I look forward to more stories.
Honestly, I want to know what is going to happen next. What is she doing there? Why is she begging to stay when they are treating her like a slave? Who are the other people in the room? Does she actually go into the bedroom with "Bodo"? I want more!!
Great job! This story was very well thought out and illustrated well without giving too much. I very much look forward to the next installment if there is one.
This piece seems to be the start of a great story.. It seems like a very short glimpse of either a short story or a longer one. I like the aspect of men being considered furniture. How do these women determine what kind of furniture a man should be? Are larger, stronger men chairs and couches and smaller men meant to stand around as coat racks? I really think you should keep going. Maybe mention how the women came about to be dominate and include some kind of conflict. There could be a coffee table who no longer wants women to put their drinks on him and he encourages other pieces of "furniture" to revolt. Think about it, one family could lose an entire house of furniture.
Again, great start.
