Written from the perspective of an obsessed guy. Rieve pronounced- Reev It's very vague
Rieve, you'll never know
you'll never hurt
I'll hide you from it all
Rieve, you'll never love.

But Rieve, sweet Rieve,
He'll sing until his lungs burst
Outside your window he plays your song
Can you hear it?
His heart sings your name.

Rieve, your freedom is limited,
Free to be happy but never to hurt
He'll teach you those feelings, putting you in danger
I will call to you, but you won't listen
not to the one who's kept you safe and happy.

Rieve, Rieve,
you'll join in his song
you'll follow new feelings you never have known.
I'll try my best, but he'll steal you away.

The mint fragrance in the air will make you sigh
Mint plants everywhere in a magical room
that he'll take you to.
Ivy weaving in and out of the walls
and reality.

Rieve, you'll fall
so close, so soon
It'll catch you and control your life
He'll be your new master.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Rieve, I'm sorry
for allowing this to happen.
You're falling so far
You're in for a ride.
Rieve, he lies
straight to your face
why can't you see...
It's just a repeat.
Rieve, your tears are toxic,
they melt all the earth.
Droplets of acid burning holes in your skin
Rieve, he begs for forgiveness
but you've learned your lesson
Now turn you back on him.
Rieve, come back, I welcome you still
Protection and comfort
I offer you always.
Rieve, why are there mint leaves in your hair?
You want to grow mint in a magical room,
and have it cover the floors?
Rieve, the sunlight is dancing through your hair,
pours on the mint leaves, pulling them out of the soil.
Rieve, you're smiling again
You sing to your garden and tell it bedtime stories.
Rieve, your garden is beautiful,
you have many kinds of mint there, even some flowers
Ivy climbs the lattice fences.
You have a green thumb of magic.
Rieve, the wind carries the scent of mint
through the air,
You've brought such sweetness and
refreshment in breath.
Rieve, I think I'm falling for you.
I think it's been this way for a while.
You're an angel, Rieve,
with a flowing green robe
of emeralds that glisten even in darkness.
Rieve, your wings,
I see them glowing
pure white that fades to green.
A halo of mint encircles your head.
Vines entwine your body.
Rieve, I love you
I know this now.
I don't think I'll ever tell you.
Rieve, my princess,
your garden is alive,
you're radiating love and it never stops growing.
Rieve, your perfect.
Be mine,
in that little garden.
Rievem i put a fountain in your garden.
It's a statue of an angel,
I made it for you.
Rieve, you're crying,
what have I done?
Tears drown your eyes of innocence.
Let me cry with you, and comfort you
in that little garden.
Rieve, you told me you loved me.
I didn't know what to say.
Rieve, I love you, I wanted to say,
but the words were caught in my throat.
Rieve, did you know?
Did  you know I always loved you?
Did you know your tears hurt me?
Did you know your lips taste like mint?
Rieve, did you know.....
You would die in the end?
