A Rispetto for a contest. I really don't have much experience in form poetry
A weary crew lounges around
On tired timbers lost to time
Their minds drift home with love unbound
A soft sweet song begins to chime

The dead of night; a moon lit sky
Tides crash along the shoals nearby
She calls to them o’er crashing waves
Her song softly makes them her slaves

Awake on deck, the sailors lean
Straining to hear the Sirens’ song
Towards the shoals the ships careen
Feeling as though nothing is wrong

She gently walks along the shore
Discards the harp she plays no more
The sailors lost upon the seas
Are gifts in order to appease
