Little diddy I wrote after one of the most heartbreaking runarounds I've ever experienced.
I'm looking through the trees
At the changing traffic lights
I gave my time away for free
When the timing wasn't right

Two nights ago I sat here
Ignorant and hopeful
Two moons later yet again I sit
Full of knowledge
Regretful

No need to check the phones anymore
What little there was is over
My eyes are tired and my soul is sore
I've never been cut down lower

There's no resolution when one's heart is ripped
From an unguarded and vulnerable chest
The solution to this are the secrets kept
And the courage to heal from the rest.
