THE MARE IN THIS WOMAN'S HEART

You see her picture, take it in.
See her beauty, but just her skin.
Pretty? Yes, but so much more
that reaches deep into the core.

But no one else could ever see
what that young mare had meant to me
for only my heart was involved;
mine around which she revolved.
