A tribute to my love
I waited by the flowers of old
To see you in my visions once more.
I see you so clearly, in white and in gold,
But i cannot touch you as i did before.

Remembering was always easy for me,
Every breath of yours in my heart.
But the brightness of it all is fantasy,
Easily mocking how we remain apart.
Carved into my soul is your name
Creeping like soft fragrant smoke.
An eternal essence of an eternal flame,
When you were gone, the essence awoke.

I waited by the streams of light
The stars still glowed like before.
My love still burns and is far more bright,
But I cannot touch you anymore.

Right before you went into sleep,
Eternal stars of my life wept a solemn tear.
Broken and torn, I let myself weep,
Even though you were still so near.
Come what may you shall never die,
Crypted in my spirit is your touch.
Adorned with haze but the visions never lie,
Warming my soul but never too much.

I waited by the strands of time,
The world provokes me even more.
But a whispering strain of you is more divine,
But I cannot hear your whispers as before..
