This is my first poem about my religious stance.
God the Merciful?

Is god really that merciful?
The peaceful heavenly Father,
So gentle and so powerful,
Why should I even bother?

Your name is so sacred,
But I will curse it 'til the end.
My faith in you, I faked it.
In this cold world you won't defend

The world's sorrows are too much,
It hurts me to believe,
That my god is just a crutch.
Mankind is so naive.

Rapes, Murders, Genocide,
This world is very wrong.
Your secret you can not hide,
That you know you don't belong.

Why do you make good people suffer,
if your so godly and supreme.
You're just a glorified buffer,
Your “Godly” acts make me want to scream.

Now that my poem comes to a close,
In hopes these words smite you down.
So to your name I give a rose,
For you no longer wear the crown.
