I close my eyes and say a silent prayer...
Today I stand defeated in the House of Broken Dreams;
a deathly silence penetrates the air.
The tears I cry are bitter. They roll down my face in streams,
but no one else is here to show they care.

I roam the lonely hallways in the House of Broken Dreams,
sinking deeper still into despair.
Loneliness and heartache are all I have left, it seems.
Depression is the cross I now must bear.

I long to have him back here in the House of Broken Dreams,
to run my fingers through his silky hair,
to see his body glowing in a shower of moonbeams--
I close my eyes and say a silent prayer.

A silver mist falls heavy on the House of Broken Dreams.
My soul is shattered now beyond repair.
My heart is full of terror, as it cries its silent screams,
that I will always be here, and he there.
