the pain of letting go
The taste of you still rich on my tongue.
My lips swollen from the bite of your mouth.
I try to let go, but you still have your imprint on me.
You tell me it will mean nothing in the morning, yet you know exactly well that to me it does.
You put me through this pain, yet i still long for you and every little thing about you.
I wish it didnt have to be like this.
I never intended for us to be hookups, but your beauty and grace just draws me in.
Your charisma is tantalizing, but i find i lose myself every time we talk.
I know we can be nothing more.
Somewhere along the line I hope I find myself again
because this happy smile i have put on for everyone is actually me crumbling at my seams.
The taste of you still rich on my tongue.
My lips swollen from the bite of your mouth.
I try to let go....
