A light wrestle with death.
“The Coffin
Can you hear the reign?
Wallowing in the pain…
Calling out my name
It’s all the same
Prick me here, prick me there
Should I care and what else can be
It’s only me
Why care
I’m not there
Don’t care
Please go
The coffin cries,..” no!”
Calling for my acceptance
An unholy romance
The last to dance
Can’t cry any more
A heart inflamed sore
Slipping gradually through the open door
Off the top of my head…
The coffin affirms…”You are dead!”
