A Fair and Balanced Story

I worked at a liquor store. When the public assistance social security
checks were mailed out, the store's business was high. The owner told
me to raise the prices on these days. None of the items in the store had a
price tag. The prices were on a clip board behind the counter.
On an evening of a busy day, I got held up. A young man pointed a gun
at me and yelled at me for all the money. I popped the register and handed
him the cash. It was around a hundred dollars. He yelled at me to open the
safe. I told him I didn't know the combination. Just as I thought I was going
to get shot, some customers entered the store. The thief ran out.
Two young women approached the counter. They put down a six pack
and handed me a twenty. I knelt down and opened the safe. When I stood
up the young man with the gun was back. He shouted at me that I was a liar.
I apologized. The young women flashed their breasts at me and laughed.
They left and drove off in a Buick.
The police took the VHS security tape and a statement from me.
One officer ate some potato chips for sale at the counter. I asked that he pay
for it. He smirked and asked if  "I like the police?" I said yes and let him have
    the potato chips.
My boss fired me for opening the safe.
