Tears roll down my face

Emotions once trapped now sparkle in the light

The taste of bitter disdain is pulled by gravity and absorbed in tender creases

Quivering lips and downcast eyes strain to hold in a present pain

The flood is over but salty trails hint at what was

Gone now, but forgotten never

How then do i forgive?



In time, open wounds will heal and scar

your intentions to hurt will be met only by a calloused soul.
