A running thought going down memory lane.
As I walk down this lane,
I remember of the things I used to do.
Of the things that make me smile,
And of the bad times too.

As the wind blows past my ear,
I think of the fun that was then.
That of the places I have been to,
And learnt a few things now and then.

My shades filter the autumn sun,
Under which I had played in the lake of joy.
And the smile that rest on my lips,
The thought of the people I used to tease.

This lane has no beginning,
Nor will it end soon though.
A new thing I will learn always,
From this lane, as I go through.

Life is a journey, they say,
Experience life on the lane.
To remember the great events,
Till my body wears thin.
