Description of a scene after an Indian wedding.
There she sits, besides the window,
Watching her family as the car drives away.
She sheds the tears from her emptying eyes,
For she departs from the very ground she played.
I cant imagine how it would be,
If i left my friends and family.
For a stranger with whom i will share my life,
But it is true that is a sacrifice of intimacy.
She stares away into the dark night,
Away from my saddened view.
And i console her, cajole her,
And promised to make life new.
She looked at me, gave a silent smile,
Takes shelter onto my supporting shoulders.
And i spoke with warm reason,
That for her, i would even move boulders.
The moon shined brightest,
On that route to where we will live.
And from that moment,
For her, everything in my life, i will give...
