Description about a passing on of a soul.
She sits beside the window all day,
Watching the wind blow the evening autumn leaves.
Her pale face and weary old self awaits the beckon,
For she wishes to meet her husband, Jeeves.
Long time has she seen him,
After the day he was buried into the ground.
Since then was she anticipating the call,
The voice of her love, his sound.
Winter is near and the birds have flown away,
West winds has set in, cool and soft.
The children play in the fields, chasing,
The firefly that just took off.
A cry is heard from the home,
Where she sits besides the window.
She heard his voice and left the chair,
As a quiet bright firefly, into the meadow.
Silent good bye has been said,
Sweet memories remembered on the way.
Of the beautiful fields, the silent river nearby,
And everything lovely, while the firefly flies away...
