A poem that I dedicate to someone special.
When the time comes
that you begin to suffer
I will use my air
to blow away the smoke
that chokes you.

As I save you dear
my soul is finding it
the burnt heart hidden deep
in the secret drowning depths
that consumes me.

Will you help me recover
the missing pieces of virtue
as I unravel the shroud
which has kept me safe
that kills me.

I found you as hollow
claiming to be empty inside
I will fill you up
with my long awakening tears
that emerged below.

Sing me a faithful lullabye
while I sail across life
the roaring waves of thunder
that burn us with words
that hurt us.

I will hold you forever
if you choose to stay
to walk the road of loneliness
while I learn the ways
to love you.
