It was in the wind
I heard a voice less than a whisper
It was in the wind...
Carried to my ears from the east
But my eyes looked only to the west
It was so soft as it sifted through my nose
like silk ribbons running through my lungs.
But my fists remain clenched, and my eyes sown shut.
Gentle as a fathers hands upon a crying child
I start to unravel...
My fists begin to unwrap around my stubbornness.
My eyes...
                Relax and open...
          "Sweet young child."
This amazing voice fills my ears with something beautiful
I answer like a baby to an unfamiliar sound
    "I'm here....
                    For you...
                                    Only...
                                              You..."
