A wife who's husband passed
Does it hurt when you say his name
when you speak the words he once lived by?
Is there an empty feeling,
when you remember his honey soaked smile?
                                            His voice?
                                        His laugh?
                                  His abstract habits?
Do you still say "I love you"
Soundless amid the left overs of a summer night?
Where did your time go?
          Was is too soon?
How slow does time move,
When your so lost without someone?
      Were you hopeless
      Are you hopeless
Can you hear him now?
Does he whisper in your ear?
        Do you answer back?
Is it cold without his arms around you
Are the lakes
                  inside your heart
                                            frozen?
