What may change now, may actually still be here tomorrow.
Meteoric malice,
Manifesting malevolence,
Metering madness,
Up until the brink of dawn.
Teetering totalitarianism,
Timing tasked tests,
Talking to the types,
Playing favor to the con.
While the singers sing their song,
The same things are never gone.

Warped words spoken by machines,
Understanding understatements like this,
Viewpoints vivid in the dusky mire,
Losing their learning as time passes on.
Halfway half-baked hiding places,
Evidently evacuated evenly by the alarm,
Crazed conduct is the societal norm,
No one knows the right from the wrong.
While they continue to wonder when the day is long,
The same things are never gone.

Inside worlds beyond the human mind,
There exists but a few answers.
The goal is there, yet it's unclear,
No naked eye can interpret this.
The collide and clash combine,
Inside the divide of mankind,
Because there were those that forgone,
That the same things are never gone.

Winds won't wind down,
Temperatures decrease in timely fashion,
Many messages still taken to the side,
Altering allegations for all to see,
But the truth shall overtake brawn,
And then people will see what's wrong,
As the machine will sing its swan song,
And as it is known, all along,
The same things were never gone.
