Pal Poetry 2
It moved, I swear I didn't put it there.
The chair mocks me from it's standing position,
as I lay prostrate on the floor.

I look at the door It looks down on me,
in superior tone.
Looming ominously it says it's in control,

The windows giggle with light,
hysterical at my physical plight.
Swishing the curtains to seal me in.

My house is out to get me, it's plain to see.
Even the toaster tried to burn me to a cinder,
wrapped in it's stainless steel glee.

What can I do? there is no escape
I'll have to lie here and wait,
I hope I'm rescued before it's too late!
