you can live without it, but it just wouldnt be the same. we all need a little friendship

It’s unrequired,
yet highly desired,
could I live without?
I have no doubt,
A life of toil,
all but royal,
there’d be no joy,
with no one else to annoy.

Ripples of laughter,
from floor to rafter,
alone I’d survive,
but with you I thrive,
You’re the icing on my cake,
I’m the soft-serve, your my flake,
friendship is the glue,
breathing life into me and you.
