A sad poem
Woke up one day

looked over you way

but you weren't there

you weren't anywhere

I called for you

no answer, no clue

where did you go?

I wanted to know

Searched all around

The sky and ground

Couldnt find you

My heart felt so blue

I asked your friends and family

But they all just ignored me

I tried your phone

Just a dial tone

Where are you I cried out

I started to swear and shout

No answer came from above or below

Where did you go, I needed to know

Came across an old man

He had a money can

Ask and I'll answer he said

For a price I thought in my head

I gave him a coin and asked away

Where had my true love gone today?

He pointed and gave me directions to a place

I thanked him and ran like in a race

I came to a cemetary

It seemed so dark and scary

I crept through the gate

I dreaded what await

I found you there looking so sad

I couldnt even get mad

I went to hug you but slipped right through you

I was so confused, what could i do?

Looked down and saw a simple gravestone

It was whiter than pure bone

A name was etched into it

I leaned in close and read a bit

Heard you mutter an I love you

and that you didnt want it to be true

The grave was my own

my name set in stone

I had died and without a goodbye

No I understood why

Im sorry I said to my love

Then I knew I was ready to go above

I kissed his cheek and I think he knew

I said goodbye and off I flew
