Even three years later, I can recall what I've tried to forget.
Sounds of sleep covering me.
Awakened eyes.
Dreams demise.

The sun rose just hours ago.
And you're not home.
Are you alone?

I recall the last time.
You said this was the last time.
Played and used.
What a fool
What a tool.

Soiled feet follow the doors report.
You're back.
You're home.
But you're not alone.

You carry his scent.
You wear his shirt.
You kiss my lips.
All I taste is dirt.

I keep composure.
Even through your tears and throes.
Of why's and how's

In this moment I feel nothing.
