Started off as thoughts in class then turned into something else.
Hello…
Let me take you to a place,
Where the darkness never ends,
And the light never begins.

Can you see that?
The something in my blackness.
Can you feel that?
That trembling from within.

I know you don't understand,
I can see it in your stance.

This is why I won't let you in my mind.
You can't deny you're trapped in something beyond your comprehension.

Here take my hand,
And I'll lead you back outside again.

Away from my horrors,
To shun my terrors,
Turn a blind eye to my sorrows.

Yea I cope in the darkness,
Something feels right here.
In the absence of “their” presence
I thrive.

Taking one step at a time,
I strive for the sun to be high,
And my world to be… different.
