In poetry class we were instructed to write one on politics but i never got to turn it in
What governs this world?
Who tell us what, who, when, where and why?
War is everywhere,
Across the seas in the middle east, and right here in our streets.
Time and again we delve in our murderous intent,
Spare no one,
Stop at nothing,
Keep climbing to the top only to be targeted.
It’s a game we named “King of the Hill”.
Only he or she can send out pills or vaccines,
To help the people of the world;
However they rather profit.
Human life is a business,
Since the olden day slaves, to modern day soldiers.
We have always been sold to an idea, revolution or morals.
But when one stands out and becomes untamed,
A shot in dark keeps it the same.
We all duck and dodge bullets the best we can,
However, it is the stroke of a pen that gives the command.
