My Entry for the June 2011 Traditional Poetry contest
There is only one earth and only one sky,
but everyone can see them with two open eyes.

There are three different lights that brighten our lives:
the Sun and the moon and the countless stars thrive.

There is North, East, West, South, four different ways
and a compass points North for all of our days.

Five different fingers are on both of my hands,
and they strum the six strings on my violin stand.

The seven days travel round, on and on they go
to the tune of the eight white keys on the piano.

There are nine white squares on a tic-tac-toe board
and ten is a number that's as good as a word.
