A brief little poem I wrote...

'You'

-
You give me a bittersweet sensation,
A warmness that stirs within my heart
Halting my every contemplation

It's a state of mind that permeates my very being
Unrelenting and unceasing
I feel as though it is only you I'm seeing

You revitalize my life and make it fulfilling
To hold you close forever
All the blood of my heart is worth spilling

For each moment spent without you is agonizing
A pain insufferable
Curable only by a smile so tantalizing
