My first non-rhyming poem
Thrown on the floor,
shattered into pieces
super glue cant fix this
it will never be the same again
you ripped my heart from my chest
threw it on the floor and walked away
sweep up the pieces tape it together
back in my chest till the next one comes along
and throws it back on the floor

a heart so real to me
so dispensable to everyone else
they throw it away
like it never mattered
its my heart
it matters to me

i think ill take it out of my chest
slowly and carefully wrap it up
in the softest material i can find
lock it away in a box
in the top of a hidden closet
so it can never again
be thrown on the floor
