a personal struggle, with inner strength, not giving up. Inspirational

When a road tells no stories
and imagination prevails
we proceed with caution
not knowing which trail

With a strong sense of direction
to pull me one way
a trace of perfection.
no reason to stay

An interesting star
To light ones own course
A spark of frustration
And then I remain lost

Heading the distance
With a light onward step
Now faced with a decision
And no safety net

Do I continue to imagine
Ever reaching that place
Where all else is pastime
Just a long empty race

Winds and storms keep the path unclear
Watching emotions
My dreams turn to fears

From sunrise to sunset
Everything is in place
Marching renditions
A smile on my face

Do I complain or stumble
On this path that I've chose
When I reach for the stars
I fall on my nose

So I pick myself up
And continue the race
And when heaven awaits me
I remember this place

Strong will surrounds me
And to make any sense
I keep pushing the buttons
To get over this fence

Laughter, songs. dreaming
To name a few
Keeps my mind focused
On today which is new

I"m going to make it
To this place that is real
One step at a time
To a sensible meal

Thank you for listening
To my picturesque tale
Of a life once left open
Like a lost little snail

Old legs
Slow legs
Feet that won't move
It's not very pleasant to wear any shoes

No miracles today will come into light
So that's why this old girl
Will continue to fight

Remember this phrase
If it's the last thing ill do
Rainbows and kisses
From me to you

The courage of lion's
The dreams of men
The hopes of my intentions
And an old worn out pen

Follow our senses
And remain with this thought
Wishing without teardrops
Grows now new crops

For today is a gift
Without asking His name
I know where He leads me
And from where I came
