A poem describing how I feel right now. Sorry if it's a tad pessmistic and unoriginal.
A ghost watching an electronic screen
Is feeling stuck in between
Of the energy contained within
And past regrets soaked with sin

Staring deeply at the pictures
Of strangers that seem smug and bitter
To do so forever wouldn't change it's state
Just remind it of what it can't appreciate

It wishes to get up and roam
yet in that thought it longs for home
A shelter that does not exist
Except within the confines of it's wit

No other monster knows it's sorrow
Forever waiting for tomorrow
Again the sun goes up and down
But still for this soul no progress is found

Repetition is it's sole curse
For the deathbed didn't end it's worth
Infinitely it seems to exist
With no way to be dismissed

This soul is linear in it's depth
Of sorrow and it's lack of breath
No desire to haunt and cause a fright
It's simply a sadness in the night
