Poem about emotions building.
There was a time when love knocked on my door, but i wasn't home to let it in,
Sadness crept thru my window like the soft wind.
Hate was living under my bed, ready to grab me again.
Regret, oh bittersweet regret, was hiding in my closet then.
Fear was up in the attic, coming out in the dark,
And my past, in the backyard, i could hear it's vicious barks.

But there was the time happines, it came out instead,
instead of that worry living in my head.
Beauty was shown when i turned on the lights,
and when i walked in my kitchen, i felt the hunger for life.
Trust broke the lock, and came right on in,
stumbling over my quick ways to defend.

Yes i did it, i let good win.
Because my past is over, and my future is about to begin.
